What is up with the rain? I am counting my blessings…last night the heater was not kicking on and the house was getting chilly. We went down to change the filter (which solved the problem!!!) and found a nice flood in the basement. I am trying to be thankful for the heater problem…so at midnight we could take care of the flood, instead of an even bigger wet mess this morning! Frustrating.
Trouble, trouble, trouble…as if there isn’t enough to do to get ready for company and Christmas…we get Bridget needing stitches one day and flooding the next…hopefully no major problems happen today!
I think this earth life is about solving problems and learning to deal with things. Sure does seem like “things” come at the most inconvenient times! I can remember going down to change the laundry and stepping off the stairs, in the dark, in ankle deep water. Good thing I went to change the wash or it could have been much worse! Never a dull moment with a big family.
