Kimball’s class, along with all of the 2nd grade classes, danced to the song “Do You Love Me?” by the Contours. It was a chilly day and on the verge of rain, but the dance festival went on. The younger kids didn’t “love” being there until after the festival was over and we took a few minutes to play on the playground!
My grade school in Mapleton always had a May dance festival. Kimball and his classmates bring back memories.
