We are canning, ever canning…can not wait to be done 
Did I just say that? So, we have slowed down a bit. I need to do another batch of green beans and I do want to make applesauce (the season of apples is soon). Look how yummy, dinner is served!
It all looks really good, but you are right that it is so much work. I did fruit mix yesterday, of pears peaches, and grapes. I only have a few more pears left to do, and I got peaches and grapes to go with them. One more day and I will be done. I regret not getting started soon enough that I could have gotten early fruit. I have not done near as much as you are doing, however.
It is a real joy to have new fruit in my jars, and stock my cupboards.
WOW and double WOW that all looks great! Good eating later on. I do know first hand the work that goes into this process. I have done lots of tomatoes this year and peaches but not too much else. I have bottles to empty of past failures when we thought we’d love plums and they were not a family favorite. Well the men are here to put in my new windows so I’m going to watch the process.
