Celebrate Freedom

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Spending time with family is the best. We sure love when company comes to visit. The festivities started with Justin and Grandma Diether arriving Wednesday evening. Thank you to all for making our weekend exciting and fun!

The kids favorite activities with their favorite Uncle Justin included wrestling, babies, and diablo.

Grandma and Grandpa Diether, Breezy, Chan, Driel, Evan and Moriah came for the 4th of July. Going out to dinner at Thai Village was delicious and then we enjoyed a small fireworks display. FYI the favorite were parachutes, the “Mach III,” and the glow sticks at the end!

Saturday July 5th was an exciting trip to the lake. We had water skiing, hot dogging, swimming, walking the low river, trampoline on land, nice breeze in the shade, and a picnic lunch. The activities and family group made for an excellent day at the lake. (Sorry I forgot my camera, no pictures from me!)

  1. Justin looks like a good baby holder! I love Bridget’s hair in that picture. It is so shiny. Thanks for all the fun times. You guys are the best!

  2. Bridget looks Great in the baby picture. Like Driel says her hair is great
… actually its fabulous. She actually looks kinda worried in it. Which is
    kinda funny.

The wrestling picture is good too. II was kinda wondering where Logan
    was, then I found him.

  3. I just noticed Driel’s baby holding comment. The nice thing
about Bridget’s babies is they don’t require much of me.
Alas, real babies are somewhat more challenging to keep
satisfied. I would have to claim that I am extremely rusty.
The last two babies I spent any amount of time with was
Moriah on my sabbatical. That was fun doing the baby bjorn.
Plus you made me hold her :-) The last one before that was
    Breezy.

So yeah that was like a 19 year gap. So yeah I think I am
pretty rusty. Bridget’s babies are just my speed lol
